For sustainability advisors

A new way to win and deliver sustainability projects.

HiRO generates world-class double materiality assessments using only public data. We give you great-looking summary outputs for free, to use in your next client meeting. You pay us only if it leads to a project.

The opportunity

DMAs are often seen as a costly chore — and are massively undervalued.

Europe's CSRD legislation requires every reporting company to conduct a double materiality assessment. This usually involves a 2–6 month consulting project which can cost $30–100K or more. So it's hardly surprising that many clients treat a DMA as little more than a necessary evil.

But a great DMA can give any company — whether CSRD-regulated or not — an unparalleled view of its systemic risks and impacts. Such deep insights are key to success in an ever-more uncertain world. That's why we believe a DMA is the ideal starting point for any meaningful sustainability engagement. Enter HiRO.

On the plus side, CSRD has…

  • Put sustainability on the agenda of company finance and risk teams
  • Led CEOs to see some sustainability issues as strategically important

But on the down side...

  • The time and effort needed for a DMA leave clients with little appetite to go further
  • The DMA is often seen only as a compliance input, rather than a source of strategic value

This is a huge missed opportunity

What HiRO does

Get a DMA in a day, and then some.

100x less
desk research

HiRO combines decades of sustainability expertise with advanced AI to map and score issues across the value chain, using public data and with citations to all sources. World-class evidence-backed answers in hours, not weeks.

Audit-ready
results

Make whatever changes you want — HiRO's audit log tracks them all. When you're ready, export the results to Excel, Word, and PowerPoint in a wide range of formats, from regulation-aligned reports to strategic briefings.

Ongoing value
for your clients

The DMA is just the start. AI‑powered assistants help you translate HiRO's company knowledge into rich insights and assets — reducing the effort required for you to guide your clients throughout their journey to sustainability.

Why we partner

We bring the tools. You bring the relationships.

Our ambition is to improve as many companies as possible, as fast as possible.

We could have chosen to build up an advisory practice around HiRO, but we believe the best way to achieve scale at speed is through partnership.

So how about joining forces? We bring the technology and the insight. You bring the client relationships and the advisory expertise.

Together, we help more companies take sustainability seriously.

How it works

No win, no fee.

1

You identify a prospect and book a meeting

Pick any company, whether CSRD-regulated or not. You know your pipeline and prospects best, and we'll work with whoever you think offers a good chance of success.

2

We create a DMA, you present it

We generate a DMA, give you the summary outputs, discuss the findings with you, and support your pitch development. Then you run the client meeting (which we can join if you wish).

3

If you win the project, we share the value

If a project follows, we take a modest success fee and give you access to the full DMA in HiRO. If not, you've lost nothing except the time for a meeting you'd likely have held anyway.

What you get

A powerful new way to win and deliver high-value projects.

A new biz dev weapon

Walk into client meetings with data-driven insights into their company — not a brochure. A HiRO-generated DMA positions you as an expert who already understands the business.

Zero upfront cost

You pay nothing unless a project is won. The only investment is the meeting itself — which you'd likely be having anyway as part of your business development activities.

3 months' HiRO access

Once a project is agreed and our success fee is confirmed, you get unrestricted access to HiRO to use for that client for 3 months, pre‑loaded with their full assessment.

Reduced delivery effort

HiRO doesn't just help you win projects — it accelerates delivery too. Your team can go deeper, faster, with less laborious research, leaving more time for high-quality thinking.

Pricing

Simple, transparent terms.

Our no win, no fee model is designed to help you secure more work without upfront cost. We can begin with a single pilot meeting, and take it from there.

We also offer subscriptions if you want to use HiRO with a large number of clients on an ongoing basis. Get in touch to explore further.

Success Fee

£1,995 or 10% of the initial project PO (whichever is greater) payable within 30 days of the client's PO.

Access to HiRO

3 months' team-wide use of HiRO for the client project, including on-boarding and email support.

Optional continuation

You can use HiRO for the client beyond 3 months for £495/month. Volume pricing is available.

About us

Built by sustainability practitioners, not just technologists.

Who we are

HiRO has been developed by Dr Tom Bregman (PhD in Zoology, biodiversity research, 10 years in corporate sustainability) and Dr Geoff Kendall (PhD in AI, 15 years in tech, 10 years in sustainability consulting, and lead author of the Future-Fit Business Benchmark).

Why we built HiRO

A lot of great advisors are spending way too much time on thankless, high-effort tasks, leaving too little budget or headspace for the deep thinking their clients so desperately need. And many companies can't or won't pay the high fees that research-heavy consulting projects typically demand.

We believe that with the right blend of deep domain expertise and advanced AI, we can solve both problems — and bring world-class sustainability advice to thousands of companies.

Book a demo with us, and we think you'll agree we're on the right track.

Why work with us now

We're offering preferential terms to early partners — including first access to new HiRO features, custom outputs, and the benefit of case studies and social proof that will be harder to build later.

Every biz dev meeting you hold without a HiRO DMA is a meeting where you have less to offer!
